Floating City: A pop up exhibition of art and food featuring the visual artworks of visiting Austrian artists Christian Bazant-Hegemark and Simone Fuchs.
The event is hosted by Petra Franklin and Siolo Thompson at Petra’s iconic Smith Tower penthouse. Guest chef Mike Stamey (of Ethan Stowell’s Red Cow) will help us delight your senses with a series of small plates each inspired by specific displayed works of art.
It’s not your staid gallery art experience, it’s not a night out at a restaurant; Floating City is a dinner party that brings together the worlds of art, food, and conversation in a new paradigm that will delight your senses and introduce you to a different way of experiencing art. During this experience you may find the black and white works of Christian Bazant-Hegmark re-interpreted on the plate via a creamy white corn timbale and blackened monkfish. Or perhaps Simone Fuchs’ illustrative pink and green drawings will appear via pampalmousee granita and hamachi crudo. The menu will be sent out a day or two before the event, but expect surprising combinations and beautiful plates.
Floating City will take place on Thursday May 29, at 6:30 PM.

Two custom drinks will be featured (a cocktail and a non-alcoholic beverage) we encourage guests to bring wine for the common table. The full menu will be sent out a few days before the event to inspire your selections.
